Marpesia marcella (C. & R. Felder, 1861), or the pansy daggerwing is a butterfly of Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru .

Its wingspan is 8-9 cm.

The bead butterfly is woven of 17 colours.
