Battus philenor (Linnaeus, 1771), or the Pipevine Swallowtail or the Blue Swallowtail inhabits North and Central America, most commonly is found in forests, meadows and gardens where pipevine (Aristolochia)  grows.

The wingspan is 70-130 mm.
